Data center modularity is a dedicated "deep-dive" theme of the Symposium's Special Focus on the state of the art in off-site-built modular designs, systems and products, and their real-world business opportunities and implementations. This design evolution affords business, IT and data center executives with new and varied capacity choices to better meet rapidly fluctuating requirements of today's "Business 2.0." Whether they are employed to meet enterprise owner/operator demand or provide third-party hosting, colocation and cloud services providers with cost-effective rapid deployment capabilities, modular, containerized, and pre-fabricated data center units can have significant economic/financial, design and technology implications. The data center design and operations experts from Uptime Institute and Tier1/451 Research will discuss the impact of these pre-fabricated options, explore new deployment strategies for meeting business objectives, and host Q&A sessions with the top vendors and users in this fast-growing product sector.

Modular Data Center Campus (a key feature of the Symposium Exposition) - Accompanying this mini-conference-within-the Symposium will be a special two-day Symposium Exposition pavilion showcasing modular products and systems components from the leading industry developers. Symposium delegates will have the opportunity to receive guided, in-depth tours and expert briefings on each of the demonstrated designs. The Modular Campus will be open to all Symposium delegates and Exposition-registered visitors, and will include both Modular Technology Innovation Presentation conference sessions and special Modular Campus Theater Presentations given by modular design experts from each of the participating industry leaders.
