Pitt Turner is Executive Director and Senior Tier Certification Authority for the Uptime Institute. Mr. Turner has personally guided the construction of billions of dollars in client site infrastructure investments, including major data center projects for United Parcel Service, Depository Trust, Hewlett-Packard, Kmart, State Farm, Texaco, and Wells Fargo. Prior to his consulting work, Mr. Turner was Senior Project Manager for Pacific Bell's Fairfield Data Center, where he was responsible for concept development, design, construction, and start-up for a 200,000 sq.ft. facility.

Mr. Turner is a co-author of the Institute's Tier and Operational Sustainability research reports, among others.  Mr. Turner served as a Judge for the Uptime Institute Green Enterprise IT Awards in 2009 and 2010.

Mr. Turner received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California-Davis and a MBA with honors from Golden Gate University.
