Dr. Herman Wiegman

Senior Engineer, GE Energy Storage Technologies

Dr. Herman Wiegman originally joined GE in 1990 as a power electronics research engineer, and re-joined GE after his PhD studies in 1999 as a power system research engineer with a specialty in energy storage systems. Herman has recently worked on integrating Li-Ion energy storage into vehicles and grid-level utility applications. Herman now serves as a lead system engineer for the newly formed GE Energy Storage Technologies business in Schenectady, NY.
