Brent Smolinski

Mr. Smolinski is an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company’s Business Technology Office in Atlanta. Before joining the Firm, Mr. Smolinski was Vice President at Wachovia Investment Bank where he led the implementation of a factor simulation and valuation framework used in measuring market, specific, and credit risk across the investment bank’s credit and fixed income derivative portfolios. He has also held technical and leadership positions for SAS, Lawrence Livermore National Labs, and several high-tech start-ups, including founding his own venture backed company. He is involved in the firm’s infrastructure, high tech, and risk management practices and manages an initiative at McKinsey to help clients improve management of their data center assets and reduce their IT carbon footprint.
