Greg Rottman
Assistant Director, ERDC DoD Supercomputing Resource Center
Greg Rottman joined the Engineer Research Development Center (ERDC), DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) team as a civil engineer in 2000. His experience includes 4 years in engineering, 22 years in information technology and 7 years in project management.
Greg is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.S. in agricultural engineering. After graduation, he worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Ft. Worth, Texas, as a hydraulic engineer. In 1981, he accepted a position as a civil engineer in the Automatic Data Processing Center (ADPC) in Ft. Worth as a liaison between the ADPC and the Engineering Division. He went to work for Tektronix Inc. in 1984 as a system analyst in their Graphics Workstation Division. After 7 years with Tektronix, Greg returned to Government service at ITL where he worked in customer assistance and served as project engineer and project manager for the Electronic Information Exchange Project. Greg worked for 5 years in the Programs and Project Management Division at the Vicksburg District before returning to ERDC ITL to be a project manager for the High Performance Computing Modernization Program Major Shared Resource Center. He presently serves as the Assistant Director of the ERDC DoD Supercomputing Resource Center.
