About the Green Enterprise IT Awards
The Green Enterprise IT (GEIT) Awards are the Uptime Institute's highest honor. The Institute grants these Awards to projects, ideas, and products that significantly improve energy productivity and resource use in IT.
The winners of the 2010 Green Enterprise IT (GEIT) Awards were announced at the Awards ceremony at the Uptime Institute Symposium 2010 on May 17, 2010.
The Awards are open to applicants in all countries and are carefully judged by a committee of independent experts. Award winners are announced each year at the high-profile Uptime Institute Symposium.
A principal objective of the GEIT Awards is to educate the data center and IT industries in effective ways to reduce energy consumption by highlighting innovation and best practices. Winners and finalists are provided with a platform to share their experiences and insights at the Uptime Symposium and through follow-on information programs, and receive peer recognition and significant public relations recognition through media coverage of the Institute Awards.
The 2011 Green Enterprise IT Awards program will begin accepting applications in the fall of 2010. Click here to request that your organization be placed on the mailing list.
