Dr. Albert Esser

Dr. Albert Esser is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Albert Esser Consulting, Inc., offering a wide variety of services in the technology sector and green IT. Until 2009 Dr. Esser was Vice President - Power and Infrastructure Solutions of Dell, where he was responsible for Dell's Infrastructure Product line and the global Power and Cooling Initiative.

Before joining Dell, Dr. Esser was Vice President Engineering of Eaton; Vice President Technology, Fluid Power Group, Eaton; and Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Emerson Network Power, Emerson Electric. Dr. Esser has held positions of increasing responsibility with Hilti, GE, and Daimler-Benz as well.

Dr. Esser received his Diplom-Ing (MS) and Dr.-Ing (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Aachen, Germany, in 1988 and 1992, respectively. A published author, he has won numerous awards and currently holds 12 US patents.
