Tony Ulichnie

Program Director, Site Uptime Network-North America, Uptime Institute

Tony Ulichnie is the Program Director for the Uptime Institute's Site Uptime Network-North America. As Program Director of the 85-member consortium, Mr. Ulichnie is responsible for planning, facilitation, benchmarking, abnormal incident reporting and analysis, and overall program success.

Mr. Ulichnie brings over 35 years of IT experience in the financial, outsourcing and manufacturing industries in the US, Great Britain, and India to his role as Program Director. His experience of building and managing data centers directly applies to the challenges of today's power and cooling issues brought about by the stressing of Moore's law.

Mr. Ulichnie holds a degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of North Texas and is ITIL and Six Sigma certified. He has published research reports and opinion pieces for the Uptime Institute, the Data Center Journal, and IT SMF (Service Management Forum) USA.
