The goal of this session is to help data center managers (both IT and facilities managers) better understand the business value of capturing power and environmental intelligence data to improve overall data center energy performance, capacity and availability. The session will illustrate the performance metrics that are important to developing a comprehensive measurement scheme, and how these can be used to federate improved intelligence to other tools in the data center, including asset management, virtualization management, and building controls systems. By measuring more performance indicators, in more places, more easily, Modius gives companies online visibility to energy consumption and capacity utilization across all their critical computing locations.
