Mark Ascolese

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, EDSA

Mark Ascolese brings more than 30 years of executive-level operations, marketing, and sales management experience to EDSA, much of it in the electrical and electronics field. Throughout his career, he has held top-level posts with industry leaders such as General Electric, Eaton, Powerware, and others.

Mr Ascolese was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in March 2008, having served on the Company's Board since 2006. He is recognized as a leading figure in the electrical power industry, having co-founded the Washington DC-based Critical Power Coalition, and serving on numerous industry and corporate boards.

Mr Ascolese is a graduate of the University of Louisville, as well as General Electric's Crotonville Executive Management Training program and Duke University's Fuqua School of Executive Education.
